A dated Dutch footrest dated 1811.

A nicely decorated oak footrest. Wide: 28 cm, deep 18 cm, high 12 cm. In front the owners initials: "M.C.S.", and "ANNO 1811". On the back the name of a later owner: " J.Madderom". The front and sides decorated with traditional carving and paintwork. Probably made in one of the Northern provinces of the Netherlands.
