An early seventeenth century brass toy scoop, found in Amsterdam.

A toy scoop. Overall length 14 cm. Maximal width 5 cm. Made of brass with attractive earth patina. On the lower part of the scoop hammered decorations, possibly letters. The holding end connected with a couple of hammered brass nails. The scoop was found in an early 17th century excavation site in the center of Amsterdam. Considering its age it remains in very good condition.
