A serving tray. Wide 29 cm. High 20 cm. Deep 22 cm. Made in the coopers way with staves connected with willow twigs. With a stunning decoration in green, red and gold. Not only the sides, but also the inside and the bottom are elaborately painted. On the inside a man in a landscape. This quality of Folk Art is extremely rare. Friesland around 1800.
