A boxwood violinmakers plane. Overall length 9 cm. With original wedge and iron. The iron with an old repair and the wedge with some damage on the left side. Also with a mahogany infill in the bottom. Low Countries, last quarter of the 18th C. Violinmaker often made their own tools. This plane shows signs of extensive use and old repairs.
