A 19th C iron "Buck-Rider" with motion by see-saw mechanism.

A rare iron Buck-Rider. Overall height as shown on the pictures 45 cm. The rider itself is 30 cm long and 25 cm high. The counterweight enables a motion lasting quite a long time. Buck-Riders were well known and feared in the Southern Dutch province of Limburg. This item resembles the more common See-Saw man. Mint condition.
