An iron hammer head. Overall length 13,5 cm. The hammer has a "claw" for pulling nails, suggesting it has been used by a (ships-)carpenter. This hammer was found in an excavation site in Dordrecht in a former shipyard. It still retains a small part of the wooden stem.
