A brass decorated weight with a steel hook. The weight, approximately 1000 gram, can be opened via a screw in the bottom, which has been sealed with a lead hallmark. On the steel hook is engraved: P 20 Kg and R 1103 g%.
The weight was probably used for official purposes in Southern Europe and dates back to the early 19th C.
