Two 18th C. Dutch dated ploughs, both made in Amsterdam, one by Frans Moret and the other by Jan Ryke.

Two dated Dutch ploughs. Overall length 32 cm. Both planes with a date in cartouche on the side. Both with makers initials up front. Both have their original irons and two beautifully forged wing-nuts. One plane, dated 1773, was made by Frans Moret, the other, dated 1796, by Johannes Franciscus Ryke. Both planemakers worked in Amsterdam. Both planes are in good condition with some signs of wear and old worm.
