A pewter pitcher. Height 16 cm. Upper diameter 12 cm. Hallmarked near the rim and "QUART". On the bottom engraved: "Newmarket Hotel Smithfield". In front engraved with initials (of the user ?). In mint condition and with nice patina. The Newmarket Hotel in Smithfield was completely destroyed by a bombing on 20 September 1940.
