A pair of early 19th C fruitwood partially lacquered Chinese benches with a makers stamp.

Two Chinese benches. Wide 99 cm. High 49 cm. Deep 14 cm. Made of fruitwood and partially painted with oxblood coloured lacquer. On the underside of one bench a clear makers mark is burned in. The construction is of high quality which makes the benches solid and sturdy. Possibly they were used in a temple. Date around 1850.
