A delicately carved 19th C. fruitwood footstove from Zeeland.

A well carved footstove. Height 20 cm, width 24 x 20 cm. With carvings all around and on the top of flowers, fruit and two jumping dogs. On the door the name of the owner: "E.Maljaars". The style and the name are quite typical for the island of Walcheren in Zeeland. The stove is in mint condition with attractive patina and dates from the second half of the 19th C.
