A couple of watercolours dated 1776 by Leendert Overbeek (Haarlem 1752-1825)

Two framed watercolours. Size 10,5 x 7,3 cm. Size of (rosewood veneerd) frames 32,5 x 27,3 cm. The watercolours are of exquisite quality. One shows a view of Rome with a fisherman and his family in the foreground. It is signed and dated L:Overbeek 1776. The other shows a rural landscape with on the right a defecating man. This one is also signed L:Overbeek. Leendert Overbeek (Haarlem 1752-1825) was a well known artist. His work can be seen in the Rijksmuseum, Rijksprentenkabinet, Frans Halsmuseum and Kröller-Müller Museum.
