A Dutch plane. Length of foot 12 cm. Typical Dutch "gerf"-plane. With original wedge and iron. Stamped in front "J.N." under a crown, the trade mark of the Nooitgedagt firm in IJlst in Friesland. This firm founded by Jan Jaring Nooitgedagt in 1865 produced high quality tools and ice-skates. This plane is in excellent original condition. Made around 1875.
